Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the North Game World platform, available at northgameworld.com, operated by North Game World from Rieskalähteentie 68, 20300 Turku, Finland. By accessing or using this platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

A. Eligibility

North Game World is intended exclusively for adults aged 18 and over. By using this platform, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age. If you are under 18, you are not permitted to use this platform. We reserve the right to terminate access if we have reason to believe a user is under 18.

B. Nature of the Platform

North Game World is a free social gaming platform for entertainment purposes only. All games use virtual coins that have no real-world monetary value. Virtual coins cannot be exchanged, transferred, withdrawn, or converted into money, goods, or services of any kind. No real-money gaming takes place on this platform. This platform is not a casino, does not hold a gambling license, and is not regulated as a gambling service under Finnish law or any other jurisdiction. The Lotteries Act (Arpajaislaki 1047/2001) does not apply to this platform's activities.

C. No Registration Required

Use of the platform does not require registration. An optional guest profile feature allows users to create a browser-local nickname and virtual coin balance. This profile is stored entirely in your browser's localStorage and is not transmitted to or stored on any server. Creating a guest profile does not constitute a contractual relationship beyond what is described in these Terms.

D. Permitted Use

You may use North Game World for personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes. You agree not to: attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or reproduce any game or platform code for commercial purposes; use automated scripts or bots to interact with the platform; attempt to circumvent any technical measures on the platform; use the platform in any manner that could damage, disable, or impair the platform's operation; or access the platform if you are under 18 years of age.

E. Intellectual Property

All content on North Game World, including game code, design elements, graphics, text, and the North Game World name and logo, is owned by or licensed to North Game World and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the platform for personal entertainment purposes. No other rights are granted.

F. Disclaimer of Warranties

North Game World is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We do not warrant that any particular game feature will remain available. Use of the platform is at your own risk. Because no money or value is involved in platform use, the risk of using this platform is limited to your time and browser resources.

G. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Finnish and EU law, North Game World shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the platform. Because the platform is free and involves no financial transactions, this limitation reflects the nature of the service provided. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under Finnish law.

H. Third-Party Resources

This platform contains a link to peluuri.fi as an informational responsible gaming resource. North Game World is not responsible for the content, availability, or practices of external websites. Links to external sites do not constitute endorsement.

I. Modifications to the Platform and Terms

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the platform at any time without notice. We also reserve the right to update these Terms. Updated Terms will be indicated by a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the platform after changes to these Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

J. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Finland, with the District Court of Southwest Finland (Varsinais-Suomen käräjäoikeus) as the court of first instance, unless mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence requires otherwise. EU residents may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
